Videogame Design and Programming

Be a part of this exciting two week intensive camp and take a thrilling look into the video world.  The first week you will create your own character, giving it personality and movement.  In the second week, you’ll give it a home by creating your very own game environment

Music Technology

Create, manipulate and record your own music.  Learn how to set up and connect studio components.  This interactive course involves the study of creative aspects of music production and music performance.  The first week students will learn production and in the second week you’ll be able to show your talents by becoming Georgia’s next Idol.  If you’ve ever wanted to know how it all works, this one’s for you!

July 7-11 and July 14-18

Robotics

Take it to the NXT level in this two week intensive camp.  Using LEGO® Mindstorms® and the James Floyd Kelly’s book LEGO®MINDSTORMS® NXT: The Mayan Adventure, you will learn all about the LEGO®MINDSTORMS® NXT.  You will learn the appropriate programming lanuage, take your robot through races and mazes, and at the end of the two weeks be able to successfully let your robot travel through a pyramid maze by itself.  (The book is provided)

July 21-25 and July 28-Aug 1

Architecture and AutoCAD

Use CAD (computer aided design) to design a home or building of the future.  Will it need solar power or earthquake proofing?  Answer this and other questions as you create floor plans, and functional designs of various buildings based on location and landscape. At the end of the two weeks, your architectural journey will be completed with model based on your 2-D and 3-D design.
